After fifteen years of research on inner song and a doctoral thesis on that topic, I wanted to focus on something else (without straying too far from my passion, of course!).

A series of circumstances led me to Naprotechnology, a natural method of restoring fertility. What a discovery! I found it so extraordinary that I decided to go and take the certification course directly in the USA, where the founder and his medical team work, to become an instructor and pass on my knowledge of the Creighton Model System Fertility Care.

The Creighton Model System and “Natural Procreative Technology” were founded in the United States in the 1990s by Dr. Thomas Hilgers, an obstetrician-gynecologist.

The Creighton Model System (CrMS) is a daily observation method that allows biomarkers to be recorded, making it easy to objectively monitor the various hormonal events that occur during the natural cycle. Naprotechnology is a medical approach to women’s health that works closely with the natural cycle, relying on fertility charts established using the CrMS method. Using fertility charts and additional medical tests, the doctor can make a diagnosis and establish a treatment protocol if necessary.

The fertility chart created using CrMS is a fantastic tool! It’s like a scan of your gynecological health over months or even years! It allows you to:

  • Knowing and understanding how your body works
  • Recognizing the fertile and infertile phases of your cycle, regardless of your gynecological situation (breastfeeding, post-partum, premenopause, etc.)
  • Managing your fertility independently and naturally
  • Quickly identify signs of fertility and monitor your gynecological health
  • Manage your fertility as a couple
  • Help communicate your desires, expectations, and difficulties
  • Above all, it is an essential tool for Naprotechnology medical care because the specialist can see at a glance where you are in your cycle

Naprotechnology medicine, based on the CrMS, adresses the fertility of the couple, man and woman. It combines several sources of information: daily observations recorded in the fertility chart, hormone levels measured regularly, other specific medical tests for men and/or women, etc.

That’s how it:

  • Identifies potential problems (premenstrual syndrome, polycystic ovary syndrome, endometriosis, infertility, etc.)
  • Corrects them through advanced medical examinations and treatments (blood tests, surgical procedures, ultrasounds, etc.)
  • Maintains human ecology and supports natural fertility

First of all, it is important to distinguish between Fertility Care monitoring and Naprotechnology monitoring. The former is essential to the latter, but the latter is not necessarily required.

For Fertility Care monitoring, you meet with an practitioner who teaches you how to fill out a chart accurately and regularly. If there are signs of a medical problem (PCOS, PMS, infertility, etc.), you are then referred to a medical consultant who will provide medical follow-up.

  • The first appointment is an introductory session to FertilityCare training. It lasts 1.5 hours and allows us to answer all your questions.
  • This is followed by four appointments lasting approximately one hour, spaced 15 days apart, to quickly build confidence in observing and interpreting cycles.
  • We meet again in the third month for a new check-up appointment.
  • Appointments are then spaced every three to six months, depending on your needs and any necessary medical follow-up.
